Get creative with your employee-referral policy

Marketing company Pardot is offering a $10,001 reward to anyone, including people outside the company, who refer a job candidate who gets hired. The offer is a good example of how employers can be more creative in recruiting top talent through referrals, Kris Dunn writes. "If you don't change up your referral bonus, you're training your employee base to ignore the message. Switch it up and experiment, and you've got a chance at getting a couple of minutes worth of attention," Dunn writes.
