Report recommends a cybersecurity upgrade for U.S.

The U.S. government needs to improve its cybersecurity efforts and to create a high-level plan to defend against attacks, according to a report by the Intelligence and National Security Alliance's Cyber Council. There needs to be more cooperation among the federal agencies that make policy, those with the experience to implement it and the private sector, the report says. The group also recommends enhanced cybersecurity training and education, and improving skills in data collection and analysis.
