Report uncovers details about CFOs' careers

About 14% of chief financial officers and 13% of CEOs will leave their jobs at major U.S. companies this year, according to a study by recruiting firm Crist|Kolder. Meanwhile, an increasing number of companies are hiring outside candidates to fill the CFO role. The average CFO is 51 years old and has been in the position for about five years, the study found.
