Juniper to help craft open-source controller for SDNs

Juniper Networks is collaborating with other parties on developing a new open-source controller for software-defined networks. It would provide an alternative to existing open-source SDN controllers, such as Floodlight, Nox and Trema, and to proprietary controllers from Cisco Systems and VMware, according to this article.
