Calif. district invests in iPads for all students

A California school district is providing iPads for all of its 19,000 students. In doing so, the Coachella Valley Unified School District, which serves a large population of low-income students, joins a small number of other school systems undertaking such purchases as part of a push to level the playing field among students from different socioeconomic backgrounds.
