Bolivian researchers are testing whether those suffering from high altitude-related illnesses can be helped by taking Viagra. Blood vessels in the lungs contract at high altitudes, leading to a possibly fatal condition when the lungs cannot supply the body with oxygen; Viagra functions by dilating blood vessels.
