Georgia lawsuit seeks to overturn school-funding system

A lawsuit filed yesterday by a group of parents and more than 50 rural school districts alleges Georgia's system for funding its schools is unconstitutional. The plaintiffs claim the state's failure to consistently fund some schools has negatively impacted student achievement and has led to high dropout rates.
