Jerry Lewis urges Congress to pass chronic pain legislation

Comedian Jerry Lewis yesterday spoke on Capitol Hill in support of legislation that would address the issue of chronic pain. A fall in 1965 caused Lewis to suffer from pain for 37 years, and the legislation he supports would direct the National Institutes of Health to establish six regional pain centers to train doctors and conduct research in pain care.
