Yahoo! to buy Musicmatch to compete in music download

Yahoo! agreed to pay $160 million to buy Musicmatch, a digital music download service. The purchase of the San Diego-based company, which owns "jukebox" software to manage a music collection on a personal computer, will help Yahoo! compete against Apple Computer and Microsoft in the growing market for selling music online.
