Chicago sees premium ice cream competition

Maryland-based Maggie Moo's Ice Cream and Treatery plans to open 35 stores in the Chicago area, putting it in direct competition with Cold Stone Creamery, which is planning to expand beyond the 48 Chicago-area stores it already operates. "A little competition is healthy," said a Cold Stone Creamery spokeswoman.
