A machinists strike will force Boeing to postpone delivering up to 30 jetliners this month. Chief Financial Officer James Bell told analysts the company could make up the shortfall if the strike, now 14 days old, ends soon. No talks are scheduled, and the sides remain $1 billion apart on terms for the contract.
