Dairy at University of Maryland continues ice-cream tradition

Flavors such as Final Exam Cram, which mixes cappuccino ice cream with crushed chocolate cookies, are among the dozens made by the dairy at the University of Maryland. The university sells more than 10,000 gallons a year in a program that started in the 1920s as part of the dairy science curriculum.
