Deutsche Borse considers launching alternative platform

As competition for market share in European trading intensifies, Deutsche Borse is looking into setting up a multilateral-trading facility, sources said. If the German exchange decides to launch an alternative-trading platform, shares listed in numerous European markets will be traded. New rules for Europe's financial markets have encouraged several MTFs to launch and challenge traditional exchanges.
