Fruits, veggies help protect men from colorectal cancer

University of Hawaii research shows eating fruits and vegetables resulted in a 26% reduction in the risk of colorectal cancer in men but not in women. The study, which included almost 200,000 adults and covered seven years, found the benefit was stronger for colon cancer than for rectal cancer.
