Sargento salad, potato "finishers" take company into the produce aisle

Sargento's Salad Finishers and Potato Finishers, rolled out this spring, mark the family-owned cheese company's first foray outside the dairy case. The company, which has grown from $600 million in 2005 to $700 million in 2007, has high hopes for the packaged mixes of cheese, nuts, sauces and chicken.
