$21M social net doesn't mend BusinessWeek woes

BusinessWeek has spent $21 million on its social network, Business Exchange, as the magazine strives to survive in the digital age. The magazine was in the red $17 million in 2008. "One of the magazine's problems online is a page-view mix that tilts heavily to slide shows," Staci D. Kramer writes.
