Pension plans turn to alternative investments

Hedge funds, private-equity funds and real estate investments are becoming more popular with corporate pension managers, a JPMorgan Asset Management survey suggests. For corporate pension plans, these alternative investments make up 11% of assets, and managers plan to boost that to 14% in the next three years.
