SkyTeam alliance adds Taiwan's China Airlines

The addition of China Airlines helps to firm up the dominance of the SkyTeam global-airline alliance in the cross-strait route. The move also could help China Airlines bolster profitability. SkyTeam, which is led by Delta Air Lines and Air France-KLM, is working to expand in Asia to capitalize on expected growth in air traffic in the region.
