Small-business bill is seen passing the Senate later this week

The small-business bill moved forward in the Senate as two Republican senators joined Democrats to help the bill pass a procedural vote, clearing it for likely passage later this week. The bill, which still has to go back to the House for approval, includes a $30 billion fund to boost small-business lending and provides an estimated $12 billion in tax cuts for small firms.
