Flight school markets training through monthly cookouts

A flight school at the David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport in Texas hosts monthly cookouts to give potential students a chance to scope out flight training. American Flyers, which has seven offices across the U.S., hosted around 20 people at a recent event. "I have always been fascinated with planes," said potential flight student Chris Hacker. "It's something I have always wanted to do, and now I am at the point where I can do it."
