Intel sets out more energy-efficient chip technology

Justin Rattner, Intel's chief technology officer, demonstrated a near-threshold voltage processor that showed how future electronics can operate with low-power processors. Speaking at the Intel Developer Forum, Rattner also detailed the hybrid memory cube Intel developed with Micron Technology, a chip-stacking technology for PC DRAMs.
