Report: Fashion bloggers to help drive online luxury sales

Fashion bloggers, social media and the penchant for wealthy consumers to shop from home during tight economic times are combining to drive up online sales of luxury apparel, jewelry and upscale autos, according to a new study from Italy luxury foundation Altagamma. Luxury merchants were slow to embrace online retail but are quickly catching up -- online luxury sales are forecast to hit $15 billion by 2015, the report said.
