Bank of Korea chief sees brittle global financial regime

Global finances may be jeopardized by the increasing connection between nations and banks since the onset of the financial catastrophe, said Bank of Korea Governor Kim Choong-soo. "The links interconnecting [financial markets worldwide], which created the global financial crisis, have become fortified in the process to resolve the crisis," Kim said, adding that "even a small risk could upset the financial markets more violently."
