Educator shares tips to reinforce history lessons with games

Educators should consider carefully how they use games in the classroom, middle-school social studies teacher Aaron Brock writes in this blog post. He suggests that skills, such as reading a graph or a map, can be enhanced with games. "Games, like any other classroom activity, should only be used when they are the most effective method of building the knowledge or skills that you want your students to master by the end of the lesson," he writes.
