Fla. elementary school revives single-gender instruction

The new principal of a Florida elementary school is showing her commitment to continuing and improving the school's single-gender instruction program -- which has been in place for years but had fallen out of favor recently. The revival of the program includes more in-house professional development for teachers and the creation of a committee to identify issues related to the single-gender classes.
