Investors' risk appetite returns

Wealth-management firms and their clients are increasingly turning to more volatile investments as appetite for risk and a desire to grow wealth returns. According to a recent study, 60% of investors with more than $3 million are prioritizing growing assets over preserving them. "The first stage of the move into risk had to do with the fear of rising yields," Chris Hyzy of U.S. Trust said. "Now we're in the second stage, in which there are real fundamental reasons why you should add risk."
