Cloned foods could be on grocery shelves by 2003

A National Academy of Sciences report shows that food safety concerns surrounding biotech food products are exaggerated. The FDA is reviewing whether to allow byproducts of cloned animals to enter the food supply. Industry observers say if farmers and food companies receive the FDA's blessing, cloned food products could be available in a year.
