National PTA reaches out to Hispanics

The National PTA is starting a $250,000 program to lure more Hispanic parents in California, Florida and Texas to its organization. Some parents may be staying away because of a language barrier or because they don't feel welcome, but new Spanish-language billboards, radio ads and recruiting materials are being used to reach out.
