Lilly drug may help avoid surgery for women with severe incontinence

Cymbalta may enable women to avoid surgery for severe incontinence, a new study indicates. The drug has been known to be effective in cases of mild to moderate stress urinary incontinence, but the new study of women with severe cases showed 20% of those who were treated over an eight-week period experienced such improvement they opted to skip surgery.
