Quest for luxury impacts grocery industry too

Luxury retailers such as Neiman Marcus have benefited from an economic phenomenon that has seen an uptick in the number of well-off households, and now the grocery industry is seeing similar growth among high-end retailers. Whole Foods' chief executive John Mackey says his company doesn't just serve "crunchy granola types" anymore. "We actually have some Republicans shopping in our stores these days," he added.
