EMusic ups ante with iTunes by offering audiobooks

EMusic, iTunes' biggest rival for song downloads, will open a new level of competition Tuesday by launching sales of downloadable audiobooks, with many costing less than at the Apple unit. But some publishers are reluctant to sign with eMusic because its MP3 format doesn't protect digital rights, according to this article.
