China reports second infant death from tainted milk powder

China reports that a second infant has died after consuming tainted milk powder made by Sanlu Group. Production of the milk powder was halted last week after investigators found the chemical compound melamine in the product. As of Monday, as many as 1,253 children had been diagnosed with illnesses linked to the milk powder.
