Continental expands paperless boarding to 25 airports

Starting today, Continental Airlines flights departing from Philadelphia International Airport can clear security and board their aircraft without a paper boarding pass. Continental instituted the paperless program at PHI -- its 25th location -- following consultation with the Transportation Security Administration. "The security benefit is that the bar code cannot be manipulated, and there's an environmental benefit," said a TSA spokeswoman.
