Infliximab helps bone growth rates in children with IBD

Infliximab helped children with inflammatory bowel disease quickly regain normal bone growth rates, according to preliminary results of an ongoing study from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Researchers said markers of bone formation and structure showed improvement after a year of treatment with infliximab.
