Report: U.K. makes progress in sustainable construction

The U.K. is making progress toward sustainable construction, according to a new government report. For example, 25% of British construction companies signed a commitment to halve the amount of waste they deposit in landfills. The U.K.'s Low Carbon Transition Plan aims for a 34% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020.
