Spain's Inditex exceeds profit estimates

Spain's Inditex, which owns the Zara clothing chain, reported a 7.6% decline in net income in the six months through July, but beat analyst expectations. Store openings around the world helped the retailer's sales. Meanwhile, the retailer said it is focusing on the launch of its Zara brand online and eventually might open online stores for its other brands.
