Daily low-dose aspirin can reduce colon cancer risk by 30%

A study published in the journal Gut found people who took a single low-dose aspirin daily reduced their colon cancer risk 22% after one year and up to 30% over five years. Researchers said patients taking other drugs in the NSAID class of anti-inflammatory medications also had a reduced risk of developing the disease.
