Labor Department accuses Tyson of gender bias in hiring

Tyson Foods is being sued by the Labor Department over allegations the company turned down women trying to get entry-level positions at an Illinois meatpacking plant in 2003 and 2004. The government wants back wages for 750 women and jobs offered to another 100. Tyson denies discriminating against applicants.
