Students with special needs face school-bus glitches in NYC

Some students in special education in New York City schools are experiencing difficulties getting transportation to school on time or at all, according to some parents and data from schools. Bus union officials said 333 bus routes were dropped for students with special needs, and that is to blame for the problems. District officials say there has not been a cut in busing for students with special needs and that all students eligible for busing are being picked up.
