Experts: First lady is advancing the nutrition movement

Nutrition experts say first lady Michelle Obama has pushed the healthy-eating movement forward by working behind the scenes and through public appearances, such as one Thursday to support Darden Restaurants as it pledged to reduce calories and sodium in meals by 20% over 10 years. Margo Wootan of the Center for Science in the Public Interest says there has been "more progress on nutrition in the last several years than in the whole previous decade," and the first lady has added "significant momentum to that movement."
