Mobile Market to bring fresh produce to D.C.-area "food deserts"

The Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food and Agriculture, which provides fresh produce for restaurants in the Washington, D.C., area, plans to launch a Mobile Market this fall to bring those products to "food deserts." Using a retrofitted school bus, the program will accept food stamps for produce that is priced below what normally is charged at a farmers market.
