More students are turning to community colleges for skills, training

About 4 million more students were enrolled in community colleges in 2011 than the year before, and the trend may not be slowing down. Community colleges allow students to finish school in less time with less debt, and they offer programs that can help students get jobs in high-demand sectors, such as science, technology, engineering and math.
