Virgin Atlantic looks to add Heathrow-to-Scotland service

Virgin Atlantic is hoping to launch flights between London's Heathrow Airport and the Scottish cities of Edinburgh and Aberdeen. The carrier wants the European Commission to let it take over slots on those routes from British Airways, which had to give them up after its parent company bought British Midland International.
