Anadarko, others shut Colo. wells due to flooding

Flooding in Colorado has prompted Anadarko Petroleum and other energy firms to shut wells in the state. Anadarko shut 600 wells in the Wattenberg field, while Encana took 397 of its 1,241 natural gas wells in the Denver-Julesburg Basin offline as a result. "Restarting the activities is expected to be significantly delayed due to road and location conditions," Anadarko said.
