Ark. physician takes steps to improve care for transgender patients

Some transgender patients report having uncomfortable relationships with doctors but primary care physicians say they can and should be seen in family practices. Family physician Craig Dinger of Eureka Springs, Ark., said he opted to have transgender-specific training and has trained his staff to make sure transgender patients feel welcome.
