Chili's to put touch screens on the table

Chili's Grill & Bar will install tabletop touch-screen computers at nearly all of its 1,266 restaurants by next year, after tests this year show customers tend to order more desserts and coffee when they use the tablets, Senior Vice President Krista Gibson said. The computers let patrons order, pay and play games during the meal, and allow the Brinker International-owned chain to collect more data about customers, including e-mail addresses.
