Chili's to put touchscreens on the table

Chili's Grill & Bar will install tabletop touchscreen computers at nearly all of its 1,266 restaurants by next year, after tests this year show customers tend to order more desserts and coffee when they use the tablets, said senior VP Krista Gibson. The computers let patrons order, pay and play games during the meal, and allow the Brinker International-owned chain to collect more data about customers, including e-mail addresses.
