Commentary: Global regulatory reform is still mistrusted

Markets are still not functioning effectively, despite a furious pace of international reform, Simon Nixon writes. The Financial Stability Board has not done enough to restore faith in the eurozone financial system, which still mistrusts Basel III rules; has not solved the issue of banks being "too big to fail"; and is burdened by fragmented ideas on how reform should be implemented, Nixon writes.
