DIRECTV is promoting its NFL Sunday Ticket package by picturing its subscribers as "the world's most powerful fans." The ads show the Sunday Ticket-powered fans as tall, mythic figures with super powers. In contrast, the poor fellows who have cable are portrayed as weak, geeky sorts.
