Eurozone inflation cools

Annual inflation in the eurozone slowed to 1.3% in August compared with 1.6% in July. "Our projection is that the inflation rate will remain in the 1.5% region, and that is something that is very important for the European Central Bank, which in our opinion will stick to the very expansive monetary policy," said Jens Kramer, a NordLB economist in Germany.
